  1. Warranty starts from the date of purchase/invoice or date of shipment.
  2. Valid proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.
  3. Warranty covers hardware defects caused by manufacturing or material faults only.
  4. Repaired/replaced parts are covered for the remaining warranty period, not reset to new.
  5. OEMs are not liable for data loss during service. Customers must back up data before submitting the laptop.
  6. Warranty service type may be Carry-in, Depot, or Onsite (Next Business Day) depending on model and coverage.

          Exclusions (Not Covered Under Warranty)

  1. Physical damage: cracks, dents, broken hinges, or screen damage.
  2. Liquid damage: spills, corrosion, or moisture exposure.
  3. Normal wear & tear: scratches, faded keyboard letters, cosmetic damage.
  4. Battery life reduction over time (capacity decline is natural).
  5. Damage due to unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  6. Issues caused by virus, OS corruption, or third-party software.
  7. Theft, fire, or natural disasters (unless covered under an Accidental Damage Protection plan).

             Battery & Accessories

  1.  Batteries, chargers, and adapters are typically covered for 6–12 months only, even if the laptop has a longer warranty.
  2. Gradual decline in battery capacity is not covered (only outright battery failure).

             Commercial Laptop Warranty Terms

  1. Commercial models (HP ProBook, EliteBook, ZBook / Dell Latitude, Precision / Lenovo ThinkPad, ThinkBook) generally come with 1–3 years standard warranty.
  2. Most business laptops include Onsite Next Business Day (NBD) service.
  3. Extended warranty and Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) are available for up to 5 years.
  4. “Keep Your Drive” (KYD) or equivalent services are available for enterprise data protection.

         Refurbished Laptop Warranty Terms

  1. OEM Certified Refurbished laptops usually come with 6–12 months limited warranty.
  2. Service is typically Depot or Carry-in (onsite support not standard).
  3. Battery warranty is generally 6 months, extendable to 12 months for some models.
  4. Repairs may use refurbished parts instead of new replacements.
  5. Warranty extensions are limited compared to new laptops.
  6. If not OEM certified, only remaining original warranty (if any) applies; otherwise seller warranty is applicable.
